The Editor

Christine Ighedosa is a young talented African woman with the heart of an Angel. She loves helping people. Her love for being a humanitarian started at the age of ten in Sierra Leone where Christine comes from. Christine’s mother opened her home to young girls and nutured them as her daughters. She would provide for all of them and send them to school. At a young age Christine had to learn that life is all about helping the less privileged from her mother.

She migrated to the United States when she was 12 years old. Her love for people never stops. She was an active member in the student body in high school. She was the CEO of a Virtual Enterprise Business in Walton High School called Comfort Sole. She graduated from High School and went to college.

The year she finished high School, her mother became sick.  The doctors were unable to diagnosis her illness.  Christine knew that she had to work and go to school. 2002 she enrolled in night school at Monroe College in the Bronx.   She graduated June 2006 with her Bachelor in Accounting and a minor in Finance. She graduated at the top of her class with honors. She accomplishes this all while tending to her ailing mother.

Christine has done a lot of community work. In 2000 she volunteered at a Nursing home for the elderly and helped with entertainments and games.  Her last year of High School she volunteered at a middle school with after school program designed to help kids in mathematic and reading.  The summer of 2001 she worked as a summer intent at YMCA 42 street branch where she helped the editor with monthly newsletters.

Now Christine is happily married to the man of her dreams. As Christine will say “I am grateful to God for giving me a Godly husband, he is not perfect, but in God he is made perfect”. Christine is an active member in her church Grace Temple in the Bronx. She is a member of the choir and she is an assistant to the Children ministry director. She loves to teach kids about God. She is also the leader of the Single's ministry at her Church. She brings together single women and men from ages 20 and up in to the spirit of fellowship and service to the kingdom of God.

Christine loves to impact the lives of other woman with her testimony. The motto of her life is. “I was born for a time like this” She loves the story of Esther.  She believes that God has a purpose for her life, which she has found in TresU Magazine, The Purpose of encouraging, empowering and inspiring women around the world.  “ I am very happy that God is using a mess-up vessel like me to impact the lives of other woman”. The best is yet to come say’s Christine.
