Weight Loss for Free part I
Everywhere you go in America, it seems we are bombarded with different kinds of weight loss program, from Jenny Craig to Bally fitness. Then there is the pharmacutical driven weight loss program, pills and drugs of different colors, shapes and kinds and many more.Nothing beats good old fashion weight loss program, no chemicals no payment of any kind no gimmicks to lure you into a program that you will not have time to attend or see to the finish. The big question is, what works then? Below you find a few tips that you have already heard, read about and even practiced every now and then that will help you be physically fit.
- Excercise: Excercise regularly, I know that it is sometimes difficult to find time to excercise especially with kids, family, work and other commitments. You must find a work around such as, if you take public transportation to work, get off a block or two before your stop and walk the rest of the way. It may not seem like much but it is a start. On your days off schedule time to go to the nearby or neighborhood park for jogging, running or power walks
- Check diet habits: Diets and eating habits are among several reasons it is difficult to shed excesive weight and keep it that way. There is someone I know that is able to eat at any given time, morning, noon and night and never gain weight this maybe due to great
metabolism or other reasons unknown me and there are others who cannot eat after 6pm because their metabolism is not as effective. Check the time you eat, what you eat, what you drink especially SODAs. Some people turn to food for comfort, when they are depressed, or unhappy this is an impulsive thing that happens especially to those that are already over weight with a sense of low self esteem this action makes them fee good in the moment, but it is a set up for diet disaster over the long haul. Replace your sodas with water, whether you eat fast food or home cooked meal drink good ol' water and when you eat fast food, go for the lowest item with the lowest calories. An example of this is at McDonalds or KFC supersizing your food is supersizing the amount of calories you eat.
Try as much as you can to eat breakfast and when you do eat breafast below you find a few recommended breakfast items:
Whole wheat bread or bagels, Old fashioned Oatmeal, multi grain cereal and other kinds that help reduce calories. make vegetables more than 30% of your diet.
Use these tips to begin your free weight loss program, watch out for part II next time. Until then eat healthy, stay fit and live well
