Who is responding to your Words?
Who is responding to your Words?
What are you saying? The words that you speak will move things. The question is “what are you moving”? Are you moving the angels of God whenever you speak God’s Word or are you moving demons when you speak contrary words? I once heard a man of God say that angles don’t respond to emotions, but they respond to God’s Word which is the Bible. When we pray, we must pray in agreement with God’s word. We have God’s word for every area of our lives, it is up to us to make our own words agree with God’s written Word. Prayer is simply agreeing out loud with God. The Bible says in Daniel 10:12 that the angel of God told Daniel:”……….. do not be afraid Daniel since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and humble yourself before your God, your words were heard and I have come in respond to them.
The angle came in response to Daniel’s words. What are you saying? Are you speaking God’s words into the situations that life brings your way or are you speaking negative words?
The Bibles say in Proverbs 18: 21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit”. This simply means that you have the same ability to speak life or death into your situations or someone else’s situations. God is God in heaven, but He has put us here on earth to rule until He comes back. The words we speak greatly affect our destiny here on earth.
God says in Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live”.
This is very powerful because God is telling you to choose life and not death, to choose blessing and not curses. We bless and curse with our mouth and our utterances, which means that we have “power" in our tongues. This is referring to the verbal words that we speak out of our mouths to other people and to situations in our own lives. You can either choose to learn how to speak and release positive words of love, encouragement and edification to other people and into your own personal life, or you can choose to release negative words of condemnation, criticism, coldness and harshness. The choice is yours! Open you month and say what God says concerning that issue .
Pleasant words, good and uplifting words, and a wholesome tongue can also help serve to lift a person's spirit up, help make their hearts glad and happy, be able to turn away possible wrath and anger, and also help to guard and preserve your own personal life. One wrong word to the wrong person at the wrong time could lead you to an early grave.
If more people would learn how to walk and abide in the revelation and knowledge that is in these verses, and learn how to express themselves in a more positive and Godly manner to others - we would have less tension and conflicts in our marriages, our families, in our personal friendships and in the workplace.
The words of our mouth have control over our lives, whether we like it or not, or whether we believe it or not. What comes out of your mouth will determine your future. Your tongue controls the direction of your life. God made man to be a steward not only over the earth but over his own mouth as well. We are our own prophets. What we say today impacts our tomorrow.
You and I are where we are right now as a result of the words we spoke yesterday and the day before that and so on. A lot of us area also products of words people spoke into our lives. That is simply the way God created us. And, like God, our words carry power. Actually, within the realm over which God gave us authority, the words we speak day after day carry the same degree of force behind them as the words God Himself speaks - even the same force as the Word that came out of God's mouth when He created the universe. Jesus said in Luke 21:33: "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away." Yes, God's Word and the words we speak "shall not return void" (Isaiah 55:11). So speak God’s word over your life, your family, your work or what ever you own and see that word work miracles. What ever you do, remember that someone is attending to your words, whether it be God’s angels or Satan’s demons someone is definitely attending to your words.
Be blessed and we at Tresu are praying for you and with you. We love you and God loves you more.
Until next time, may the Grace of God be upon you.
